Brent and I love when we actually get a Friday night together. When we do we make a large plate of nachos. We use veggie ground meat substitute. If you want you can use ground beef. You will need 1 lb/454g.
Fry up veggie meat with 1 tbsp oil for 5 minutes. Add taco seasoning with a dash of water. Simmer until the veggie meat is well covered in saucy seasoning. The key here is layers so make your own. You need a pan (baking sheet) to hold the amount of nachos you have. We put tortilla chips, cheese, green pepper, veggie meat, veggies, a little cheese, small layer tortilla chips and then more cheese. Bake for about 10 minutes until cheese is nicely melted. Keep an eye on them so the nachos don’t get too brown or burn. Enjoy!
